This entire week

This week has been a busy week! Tuesday was the Full Dress Rehearsal for Wednesday's WISC and when we got back to school, it was almost 7 and it was raining so Pamela, Esther, Lena and I cabbed home together.

Cab ride back was so hilarious, I don't think I will ever look at Shilin Snacks in the same way ever again cos of Lena.

Wednesday was a really long day, but I thought the River Dance performance with SAS went pretty well! It was a good experience. I love the violin and flute part in the song. The We Are The World finale performance was nice too. And, Mus came for the performance! Miss her a lot haha.

Everytime I hear an orchestra performing, like this performance, or the time I went for Lena's string orchestra performance, I always feel like taking up a second instrument. Haha oh well, only if I can get past my Grade8 next year I guess. One more year! My teacher says I'm improving, so hopefully I can pass my Grade8 in one try. Even then, I'm not really sure if I could commit enough to take up a second instrument.

Still, it's nice to have dreams.

Anyway, we went back to Old Cedar campus on Friday for Choir, I quite like it. The foyer feels very spacious. Plus, the Choir room is really big. I miss the old long walk out haha. It feels nice to finally be back at Old Cedar.

Sunday(s)

Happy Birthday Nicole!

Friday was supposed to be Nicole's 'Surprise' Birthday Celebration with Syahirah, Jolyn, Vanessa, Nicole and myself. So, Vanessa and I were meant to get the cake tgt, then surprise Nicole and guess what, I waited for Vanessa for super long!

Anyway, the surprise was kinda not successful. But it was fun. Esp the part where we were trying to hide Nicole's present from her. (Jolyn's face = classic)

Photos all from Vanessa. :)

I know, my blog is dying

And not only is my blog dying, guess what, I have a terrible sore throat and I have lost my voice ):

I cannot believe this. A week to the performance and I have lost my voice.

Pictures

All from Chinatown LJ which was tiring but quite ok on the overall. I think the buildings in Chinatown are quite nice though. There's more pics but I'm a bit lazy to upload them, so maybe another time. And ok, here's a pic from Sungei Buloh.

Rest of the Sungei Buloh pics are in my phone (in other words, I can't transfer them out yet)

Up in Lights

Today was Promo Day, but guess what, I woke up at 6 because I had to go to school for some Communication Skills workshop, which turned out to be surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be.

Yuwei is hilarious la, her feedback was so funny.

Anyway, after breakfast, Hui Shan, Azwyn, Jolyn, Syahirah and I went to watch My Sister's Keeper.

Omg, this is seriously the most sad movie I've ever watched in my entire life. All the scenes were either sad or emotional or tragic. I cried through the entire movie la, cos it was so sad.

Then, after the movie, we bumped into Pamela and Sherly in the toilet. And they were gonna watch My Sister's Keeper too. And I knew that if I cried through the entire movie, Pamela would definitely cry more than me. And yes, I was right!

Mom's birthday tmr. This weekend should be great :)
